Fanshawe is a college with 17,000 full time & 25,000 part time students. The college holds an annual Open House to showcase the campus and programs to potential students. The project brief was to create a commercial to promote the event that was consistent with the retro campaign that was currently being run.
The commercial plays on retro marketing stereo types with a quarky, upbeat voiceover; static tv playback; vintage filtered photography and muted colours. The movement is quick to match the voiceover.
